Hitec Lift Trucks can put together a bespoke service contract for your servicing needs. This service contract covers all standard servicing requirements and includes a Service Inspection Report. This report covers all the points which affect the day to day running of your equipment including necessary adjustments, lubrication, filter changes, battery and safety checks this is carried out on every service and a detailed copy of the service report is left with the customer to meet the Health & Safety requirements.
Breakdown & Call Out Service
We promise our customers a maximum four working hour response time, however we are constantly averaging
2 working hours response. As with all of our equipment, we have invested in our mobile service units to ensure that they are well equipped
and stocked with replacement parts to minimise down time and bring your lift trucks back to service in the shortest time with the minimum of
fuss.
Replacement Parts
Our main depot in Wellingborough stocks an extensive range of replacement parts. The parts department is controlled and monitored by computer and enables us to ensure that stock of replacement parts is kept at optimum levels. We have solid relationships and direct links with all the major suppliers to ensure quick replenishment. We have a direct link into Caterpillar’s excellent parts system which currently has a 98% first pick.
Thorough Examination
A Thorough Examination is a statutory requirement for lifting equipment under the LOLER 98 & PUWER 98 Regulations. It has the same purpose as an MOT inspection and is a legal requirement that must be carried out at least once a year and often more frequently depending on condition of use. We at Hitec Lift Trucks can advise and carry out the Thorough Examination report. We have qualified technicians that are able to carry out the examination on your site.
Doing the safe thing costs money. However, any spending on safety is money well spent.
Our Forklift Driver Training instructors have ITSSAR accreditation and carry out thorough training to the highest standards. We offer a number of courses all completely tailored to your site and working hours. Each designed to meet existing and proposed legislation, for all types of materials handling equipment.
